Aristocrat’s Hit Spooky Link Slot Makes Its Online Debut

One of the biggest names on the casino floor is finally making the jump to real-money online play. Aristocrat has taken Spooky Link, a franchise that has spent years topping land-based slot performance charts, and reworked it for digital screens under the title Go Ghost. It’s a notable moment for a brand better known for cabinets and carpets than apps and browsers.

What’s been released

Aristocrat Interactive has launched Spooky Link™ Go Ghost™ on regulated online casino platforms across North America, bringing one of the industry’s most successful land-based slot franchises into the real money gaming digital space for the first time.

The game is available through participating operators across every regulated US iGaming state and Canadian province.
It’s the first time the whole Spooky Link family has existed outside physical casino floors, where
it has consistently ranked among the top-performing games in the Eilers & Krejcik U.S. & Canada Game Performance Report.

Aristocrat Interactive chief executive Dylan Slaney said the network-wide rollout was timed to coincide with the Halloween season and is supported by the industry’s leading operators, with additional Spooky Link titles planned to follow.

Go Ghost is the first release in a character-led brand family that will later include Mo’ Mummy and Yo Yeti, combining animated presentation with feature-rich gameplay for digital audiences.

Further titles from the franchise are planned for release throughout 2027.

How it plays

Spooky Link Go Ghost features Aristocrat’s player-favourite Cash Collect mechanic, with special symbols collecting and enhancing credit values, jackpots and other prizes.
Layered on top of that familiar collection system is a dedicated monster twist:
Spooky Link Go Ghost introduces a Ghost character that can appear randomly during gameplay to increase credit values and provide additional winning opportunities.
It’s a format that will feel familiar to anyone who has played Aristocrat’s Cash Express or Lightning Link style games, but reskinned with the animated monster cast that has made Spooky Link a land-based regular.

The online version has been
reimagined and optimised for online play
rather than simply ported over, and is reaching players through
participating casino websites and mobile apps
rather than just casino-floor cabinets. On the ground, the franchise’s physical rollout has already reached high-profile venues, including a cabinet debut at Mohegan Sun earlier this year, giving the digital version a proven track record to build on before it even launched.

Where it fits

Go Ghost’s debut is a North American launch for now, but Aristocrat Interactive is far from a stranger to UK screens. The studio holds a UK Gambling Commission licence and has been steadily growing its footprint here through third-party distribution deals. Earlier this year,
SkillOnNet launched Aristocrat Interactive’s online casino content across its UK operations, with titles made available across several SkillOnNet-operated brands, including PlayOJO, Slingo, SpinGenie, MegawaysCasino and GentingCasino.
That rollout began with
the Double Bubble game series, with additional markets expected to be added as the rollout progresses.

That existing UK pipeline is worth watching now that Spooky Link has proven itself in regulated online markets elsewhere. With Aristocrat openly planning further instalments through 2027 and already distributing content to recognisable UK casino brands, Go Ghost and its planned stablemates Mo’ Mummy and Yo Yeti look like reasonable candidates to eventually turn up on UK sites, sitting alongside the steady run of Halloween-themed releases that studios such as Slotmill and BGaming have been putting out this month.
