Aristocrat’s Spooky Link Slot Finally Goes Online in North America

One of the biggest names on the casino floor has finally made the jump to screens. Aristocrat Interactive has taken its Spooky Link franchise online for the first time, launching the Go Ghost variant across regulated North American markets just as the Halloween season gets underway. For a game that has spent the past year topping land-based performance charts, this is a long-awaited digital debut.
What’s been released
Aristocrat Interactive, the regulated online real-money gaming arm of Aristocrat, has put Spooky Link Go Ghost live with operators across the US and Canada.
Available through leading operators in all regulated U.S. iGaming states and Canadian provinces, the launch marks the Spooky Link franchise’s debut in the Real Money Gaming digital space.
The rollout has already reached individual operator sites, with the title confirmed live at Hard Rock Bet’s online casino in New Jersey and Michigan.
Aristocrat Interactive chief executive Dylan Slaney framed the move as bringing
one of the industry’s most successful land-based slot franchises to regulated online casino platforms across North America
. He added that the title had
seen strong appeal and exceptional land-based performance, driven by high levels of player engagement
, with the online version built to carry that success into digital play. The franchise has repeatedly featured near the top of the
Eilers & Krejcik U.S. & Canada Game Performance Report
, which tracks how slot titles perform on actual casino floors.
Go Ghost is only the opening chapter.
It is the first release in a character-led brand family that will later include Mo’ Mummy and Yo Yeti, combining playful spooky themes, animated presentation and feature-rich gameplay.
Further entries in the range are
planned for release throughout 2027
, suggesting this is the start of a sustained push rather than a one-off Halloween tie-in.
How it plays
Go Ghost keeps the Cash Collect engine that underpins much of Aristocrat’s slot catalogue, with
special symbols collecting and enhancing credit values, jackpots and prizes
as they land. The online build runs on a
5×3 grid, with wins paying left to right from the first reel
.
The character twist comes once the feature triggers.
When a feature starts, every gem from the triggering spin turns into a white diamond holding the same prize.
Play then shifts to a bonus board where
you’ll move to a 5×5 board where each position spins on its own, with five spins to start.
From there, a roaming Ghost does the collecting:
a 2×2 Ghost appears and drifts over to each diamond, collecting its prize.
It’s a visual spin on the Cash Collect formula that Aristocrat has used across titles like Buffalo and Dragon Link, swapping static symbol collection for an animated character doing the legwork across the grid.
Where it fits
For now, Spooky Link Go Ghost is strictly a North American release, confined to regulated US iGaming states and Canadian provinces rather than UK-licensed sites. That said, UK players already have a sense of what’s coming: Aristocrat used last season’s ICE show to put the franchise in front of the European trade, with the company confirming it would
celebrate the official regional launch of The Baron Portrait cabinet and debut the breakout hit Spooky Link
for land-based floors in the region.
The timing also says something about how Aristocrat Interactive now operates. Formed from the combination of several studios following its acquisition activity, the division was
formed in 2024 with the combination of Anaxi and the NeoGames businesses, including NeoGames, Aspire Global, BtoBet and Pariplay
, giving it existing distribution ties into European and UK-facing platforms. Whether Go Ghost itself crosses the Atlantic remains to be seen, but the pattern of land-based hits being reworked for online play, and Aristocrat’s growing RMG footprint, makes it a title worth watching alongside this Halloween’s other spooky-season slot drops from rival studios already live on UK sites.
