BGaming’s Chicken Halloween Leads a Five-Game Spooky Season Drop

BGaming’s farmyard has had a makeover for the season, and the chickens are in costume. Chicken Halloween lands today as the centrepiece of a five-game seasonal set from the studio, giving one of its best-known casual titles a jack-o’-lantern glow-up alongside a run of brand-new and reskinned slots arriving throughout October.

What’s been released

Chicken Halloween is the next title to be released, set for launch on October 14th, a Halloween-themed version of the #Casual title Chicken Shot.

It gives the original game a Halloween makeover, with the chickens transforming into Halloween and horror characters.
It’s one part of a wider pack:
BGaming has released a five-game Halloween-themed promotional set including Witchcraft Riches, Chicken Halloween, Aviamasters 2 Halloween, Spider Circus Hold and Win and Noche de Almas.

BGaming recognises that different players look for different experiences during Halloween, with some preferring cosy autumnal nights and others looking for more thrilling, horror-themed action, so this year’s pack features five unique titles led by the original #Classic slot Spider Circus Hold and Win.

Noche de Almas, inspired by Día de los Muertos, rounds out the collection on October 20 and debuts the Real Deal feature, the first of its kind in BGaming’s portfolio.
The studio has form here:
this new themed promotional set follows in the footsteps of the studio’s previous holiday-themed offerings, including last year’s Halloween release, as well as Xmas, Oktoberfest, Valentine’s Day, and Chinese New Year sets.

How it plays

Chicken Halloween keeps the shooting-gallery mechanic that made the original Chicken Shot popular but reskins the setting entirely.
The farm has gravestones, scarecrows, black cats and jack-o’-lanterns, and the chickens themselves are dressed as vampires, witches, pumpkins, zombies, ghosts and hunchbacks, each carrying multipliers of up to 64x the bet, with players tasked with taking shots at the chickens to claim prizes.

All players have to do is place their cursor on a chicken and click to shoot, with each chicken instantly rewarding its prize on a hit, or forfeiting the bet on a miss.
The game is transparent about the risk involved too:
hovering the cursor over a chicken shows the chances of winning, with the odds of snatching a 64x prize on the first try sitting at 1.52%.

Chicken Halloween is a low-volatility game with max multipliers of 64x and an RTP of 97%.

Elsewhere in the set, Noche de Almas pushes further into new mechanics territory.
It debuts the Real Deal feature, in which players can purchase 500 spins at a lower cost than traditional spins, with these playing in the background and the top three results revealed to players from lowest to highest.
Spider Circus Hold and Win, meanwhile, sticks to a more familiar format, while
Aviamasters 2 Halloween is a spin-off of one of the studio’s most popular crash-style titles.

Where it fits

BGaming is one of the suppliers holding UK Gambling Commission certification, so seasonal reskins like this typically make their way into UK-facing lobbies alongside the usual suspects from Evolution, Pragmatic Play and Hacksaw. The Halloween drop also lands the same week BGaming has been busy elsewhere in its catalogue, with its Johnny vs Chicken duel slot and other #Entertainment titles still fresh in operators’ minds. Seasonal content like this tends to be a reliable lobby refresh for operators heading into the Halloween weekend, giving players something themed to spin without needing a brand-new game engine behind it.

Demos for the remaining titles in the set, including Aviamasters 2 Halloween, Spider Circus Hold and Win and Noche de Almas, become available on BGaming’s own site as each release date arrives, so UK players curious about the mechanics can try before their chosen operator adds the games to its own lobby.
