Oddin.gg Builds an AI Live Dealer for Its Casino Push
Live casino is usually the most human corner of online gambling, with real dealers broadcasting from studios around the clock. One supplier wants to put something rather less flesh-and-blood behind the table. Oddin.gg, better known for esports betting technology, has spent the past year quietly building an AI-generated dealer for a new division called Oddin Casino, and fresh comment from the company this week gave the clearest picture yet of what it’s trying to do.
What’s been released
Oddin.gg,
which confirmed the move, called Oddin Casino, in its announcement published on 4 August 2026
, is best known as a B2B supplier of esports odds feeds and risk management rather than casino content. According to the company,
the move marks its first major expansion beyond esports and establishes casino as a long-term strategic vertical
.
Its first product will be a digital live dealer built on proprietary models developed specifically for real-time character performance and player interaction
.
The team behind it has an unusual pedigree for a casino product:
engineers behind Oddin Casino have built systems at Meta, Google DeepMind, HeyGen and Samsung, and together they have spent more than a year developing the technology stack, with more than 2 million GPU hours of training behind it
.
The product is expected to make its public debut later this year
, though
Oddin.gg has not yet detailed pricing, launch markets or which operators, if any, will carry the first Oddin Casino product
, and
the slate of games that will go live hasn’t been announced
.
How it plays
What’s meant to set the approach apart is how the dealer is built.
Rather than assembling a digital dealer from a conventional game engine and a collection of third-party AI services, the company is developing the dealer at the model level, giving it more control over how the dealer looks, moves, speaks, responds, interacts and performs in real time
.
That approach is intended to create a foundation for characters and experiences that can be adapted to different brands, audiences, languages and markets
.
Co-founder and managing director Marek Suchar has framed the project as solving a branding problem rather than a games shortage.
Casino operators don’t lack games, he argues, but even the biggest brands often lack content that feels truly their own, since dedicated tables typically require significant time and investment to build; the technology is meant to give operators more freedom to shape who hosts a game, how that character behaves, how players interact with it and how the experience expresses their brand
.
Oddin Casino will apply those same principles through a dedicated product and commercial strategy, with a production model intended to give operators more flexibility without compromising game integrity, operational control, player trust or regulatory requirements
.
Where it fits
Oddin.gg’s core business still sits a long way from the UK’s live roulette and blackjack tables.
The company has spent the past decade building products for fast-paced, high-volume live betting environments, with an esports ecosystem combining real-time data, odds and risk management, 24/7 betting content and front-end technology
. It has kept expanding that side of the business too:
it recently bolstered its fast betting lineup with the launch of eHockey, a 24/7 head-to-head product delivering close to 1,600 studio-produced matches a month
.
UK live casino lobbies are currently built almost entirely around studio-based human dealers from suppliers such as Evolution, Light & Wonder and Pragmatic Play Live, so an AI-generated host would be a genuinely different format rather than a minor addition to an existing shelf of tables. For now, though, Oddin Casino is one to watch rather than one to play. With no operators, launch markets or firm release date confirmed beyond “later this year”, UK players will need further announcements before finding out whether, or when, the technology turns up on licensed sites here.
