Blueprint’s Game of Thrones Slot Marches Into the US

Blueprint Gaming’s biggest licensed slot of the year has crossed the border. Having spent the spring and summer building momentum in Ontario and Alberta, the studio’s Game of Thrones title has now touched down at BetMGM and Borgata sites in four US states, bringing its house sigils and Iron Throne bonus to a much wider regulated audience.

What’s been released

Warner Bros Discovery Experiences, Blueprint Gaming and BetMGM have announced the US launch of Game of Thrones through White Hat Studios, with the slot now available at BetMGM Casino in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virginia and also at Borgata Online in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
The title was
developed by Warner Bros Discovery Global Experiences in partnership with Blueprint Gaming, adapting the setting and storylines of the acclaimed HBO series into a slot built around modern player preferences, and is distributed in North America through White Hat Studios’ House of Brands portfolio.

This isn’t a cold launch.
The deal was struck ahead of the game’s launch across the US, following its debut in Ontario.

That Ontario release produced strong engagement and performance figures that ranked among BetMGM’s best on record for a title debut, with Eilers & Krejcik Gaming placing Game of Thrones fifth on its list of Canada’s top-performing new online casino game launches.
Blueprint and BetMGM then carried that momentum into Alberta once both companies secured the necessary provincial licences.

How it plays

UK players who already know Blueprint’s slots will recognise the engine room here.
Players can unlock sigils representing Houses Stark, Baratheon, Lannister and Targaryen, each providing different gameplay modifiers, alongside additional wildlife-themed modifiers spread throughout the game to create a more compelling experience.

The design centres on a Night’s Watch Collect feature, through which players can unlock the sigils of Westeros’ houses, each with its own modifiers that alter prize collection.

In its US form, the mechanics have been scaled up further.
The six-reel slot offers 4,096 ways to win and includes a persistent Money Collect feature linked to Houses Stark, Lannister, Baratheon and Targaryen, with player progression able to carry across gaming sessions, while the title also includes an Iron Throne Bonus and four fixed jackpot prizes.
BetMGM and Borgata are leaning into the launch with tied-in promotions rather than just letting the game speak for itself:
BetMGM is supporting the US release with bonus spins, sweepstakes and leaderboard competitions, including a $25,000 leaderboard competition scheduled to run from 5 to 11 October, while Borgata Online Casino will run up to 10 million bonus spins during September.

Where it fits

For a studio best known in the UK for its Money Collect cabinets and, more recently, its House of the Dragon tie-in, this Game of Thrones release shows how far Blueprint’s licensed content strategy now reaches.
The release expands the availability of Blueprint Gaming content across regulated US iGaming markets through White Hat Studios’ distribution platform.
Blueprint’s own messaging frames it as a statement release for the brand:
“At Blueprint Gaming, we’re focused on bringing some of the world’s most recognizable entertainment brands to players through our House of Brands portfolio, and Game of Thrones is one of our most ambitious launches to date,” said Charlie Jacka, Product Director at Blueprint Gaming.

There’s no confirmation yet of a UK release date for this particular title, but the pattern is a familiar one for followers of Blueprint’s output: a headline entertainment licence proven first in Canada, then rolled through regulated US states, with UK availability often following once a title has demonstrated its numbers elsewhere. Given how quickly House of the Dragon’s Syrax slot found its way to British screens, UK players watching Blueprint’s HBO output would be wise not to assume the Seven Kingdoms will stay off their reels for long.
