Pragmatic Play Maps Out Q4 With Gates of Olympus 2500

Zeus is heading back to the reels with a bigger multiplier ceiling than ever. Pragmatic Play has laid out its plans for the final stretch of 2026, and the headline act is a supercharged reworking of its most recognisable slot, due to land at UK-facing sites before the month is out.
What’s been released
Pragmatic Play has set out its Q4 2026 content roadmap ahead of SBC Summit Lisbon, and the studio is leading with a new entry in its biggest franchise.
Leading the Pragmatic Play Q4 roadmap is Gates of Olympus 2500, a new release in the supplier’s slots series, scheduled to launch on 28 September, the title carries multipliers of up to 2,500x, a range of free spin modes and 25,000x win potential.
It builds on a series that has been a recurring presence in Pragmatic’s slot output since it first launched in 2021.
The roadmap does not stop at one title.
Pragmatic Play said it will launch Gates of Olympus 2500 on 28 September, with multipliers of up to 2,500x and win potential up to 25,000x, and additional planned releases include Sugar Megarush in November and Sweet Bonanza Xmas
for the festive period, keeping two of the studio’s other big franchises rotating through the same period. Beyond slots, the supplier is broadening its live and arcade output too:
two new live formats are also planned, including Guess the Number, a game show launching on 1 December, tests player predictions across even or odd, small or big and number-range bets, with up to five My Number bet spots and wins of up to 10,000:1, while Mega Wheel Latino, due in October, is a localised version of the Mega Wheel game show featuring Spanish-speaking presenters, and in the arcade vertical, Pragmatic Play will add Keno+, Pump+ and HiLo+.
How it plays
Gates of Olympus 2500 keeps the tumbling reel mechanic that made the original a fixture at UK casinos, but widens the canvas considerably.
The slot uses a 6×5 pay-anywhere grid, where at least eight matching symbols create a win, after which winning symbols disappear and new symbols tumble into their positions, with a reported default RTP of 96.52%.
That’s a step up from the standard 5×3 layout most Gates of Olympus fans will recognise, giving more room for the golden scatter and multiplier orb symbols to stack up during a spin.
The free spins round has also been reworked rather than simply carried over.
This includes the chance to activate four possible free spin bonus games, consistent bonus multipliers, new bet options and a top prize of 25,000x your stake.
Volatility is high, so swings between quiet spins and the multiplier-fuelled peaks the series is known for are likely to be pronounced, and players who enjoy the mechanic will want to try the demo before committing to real stakes once it goes live.
Where it fits
This is very much Pragmatic Play sticking with what works rather than chasing a new theme.
Pragmatic Play continues to treat its top-performing engines as long-running product lines, extending them bit by bit the way established franchises retain audiences elsewhere in entertainment, and Gates of Olympus 2500 is the latest evidence that, for the studio’s flagship mechanics, iteration remains the safer commercial bet than starting over.
The approach mirrors what the studio has already done with its Sweet Bonanza and Big Bass lines, and it’s paired here with a genuine push into new formats, including the Kevin Hart-fronted live casino collaboration and the expanding POP arcade range name-checked by the studio’s own comments on the roadmap.
For UK players, the practical upshot is a steady stream of familiar franchises returning with sharper numbers rather than a slowdown in fresh ideas. Gates of Olympus 2500 should begin appearing at Pragmatic-powered UK casinos from 28 September, with Sugar Megarush and the Sweet Bonanza festive edition following later in the quarter.
