Octoplay’s Slots Land on MrQ in Latest UK Rollout

Octoplay has slotted its catalogue into MrQ’s lobby, marking the studio’s thirteenth operator partnership in the UK since it first took out a licence here. It’s a quietly significant moment for a supplier that launched locally only three years ago and has spent that time steadily working its way through the UK’s biggest brand names.
What’s been released
Octoplay has launched its casino games with MrQ, extending UK operator coverage, with MrQ now the supplier’s 13th operator group in the market.
Octoplay was licensed in the UK in March 2023 and went live that December with Paddy Power and Betfair.
MrQ now becomes the thirteenth operator group in the market, alongside bet365 and Evoke.
The supplier said the MrQ launch comes three years after its first UK go-live.
The deal brings Octoplay’s growing library of slot and instant-win titles to one of the UK’s more talked-about independent casino brands, giving MrQ players access to the studio’s output without any need to search it out elsewhere.
What’s changed
Ralitsa Georgieva, CEO at Octoplay, said that launching the studio’s first game in the UK meant this market sets the standard for everything it builds.
She added that operators here re-order their lobbies on performance, framing being invited back by new brands as the real measure of success in a crowded market.
On MrQ’s side,
Daniel Pascoe, Senior Casino Manager at MrQ, said the operator is picky about what goes in its lobby, with every game having to earn its place rather than just fill a slot, and that Octoplay’s games are sharp, built with UK players in mind, and have become a genuine part of the MrQ mix since going live.
For players, the practical change is straightforward: Octoplay’s catalogue, including its jackpot mechanics and recent releases, now sits alongside MrQ’s existing slot selection, giving the operator another source of UK-tailored content to rotate through its lobby.
Where it fits
Octoplay’s UK footprint has been building steadily rather than explosively.
The studio is approved to operate in 20 regulated jurisdictions, including Malta, the UK, Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, Italy, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, Greece, Spain, Finland, Brazil, New Jersey, Michigan, Ontario, Georgia, Croatia, Alberta, and Pennsylvania.
Within the UK specifically, the studio has worked its way through tier-one names over the past three years, picking up bet365 and Evoke’s brands along the way before this latest addition.
The MrQ launch also lands in the same stretch as strong form for Octoplay further afield, where the studio has recently been recognised among the top-performing suppliers in the US market, pointing to a broader pattern of the brand expanding operator coverage across several regulated territories at once rather than chasing headline-grabbing single releases.
For UK players, the value of this kind of deal tends to show up gradually, in the form of a slightly wider lobby and a steadier flow of new titles landing on operators they already use, rather than in any single flashy launch.
