DragonBet to Rebuild Its Casino on BVGroup’s BV:360 Platform

DragonBet is about to get a new engine room. The independent UK bookmaker has signed a long-term technology deal that will see its casino and sportsbook rebuilt on BVGroup’s BV:360 platform, a move that should bring sharper infrastructure to the games and features UK players already use on the site.

What’s been released

UK-focused bookmaker DragonBet has entered into a technology agreement with BVGroup, migrating its online sportsbook and casino operations onto the BV:360 platform.

The migration is planned for Q1 2027 and marks a significant milestone in the next phase of growth for both businesses.

DragonBet is set to leverage BVGroup’s sportsbook, casino, player account management, payments and compliance capabilities.

It follows the company’s venture into Ireland at the beginning of 2026, where the operator was granted a Remote Bookmaker’s Licence in January.

DragonBet was founded by brothers David and James Lovell and originated from the family’s racecourse bookmaking business, with the company launching its online operation in 2022.

What’s changed

The heart of the deal is a swap of back-end technology rather than a change of branding.
DragonBet will retain its independence and identity despite the deal.

Under the partnership, DragonBet will leverage BVGroup’s sportsbook, casino, player account management, payments and compliance capabilities, while retaining control over the areas that define its customer proposition, brand and regulatory operations.

For players, that split matters: the look, feel and promotional approach of DragonBet’s casino stays with the operator, while the mechanics running underneath, from account management to payment processing, hand over to BVGroup’s infrastructure.
For BVGroup, DragonBet becomes one of the flagship partners on the BV:360 platform, further validating BVGroup’s strategy of providing modular sportsbook and gaming technology to independently licensed operators.

David Lovell, DragonBet’s chief executive and co-founder, framed the switch as an investment in longevity rather than a rebrand.
“This is a landmark agreement for DragonBet and an important investment in the long-term future of our business,” he said.

He added that achieving the operator’s growth ambitions requires continued investment in technology and infrastructure, and that after an extensive evaluation process BVGroup was judged to offer the platform, capability and long-term roadmap needed.

Where it fits

The tie-up slots DragonBet into a growing stable of BVGroup-powered brands.
The firm becomes the latest addition to the BVGroup portfolio, which includes flagship brand BetVictor, alongside Parimatch UK, Betano UK and talkSPORT BET, among others.
That gives BVGroup a broader UK footprint on the platform side, even as each brand keeps its own casino lobby and promotional identity.

For DragonBet, the move continues a period of expansion beyond its horse racing roots.
Since launching online in 2022, the company has established itself as one of the UK’s fastest-growing independent sportsbook and casino brands, recognised for its strong horse racing heritage and differentiated customer proposition.

BVGroup said DragonBet will become a flagship partner on BV:360 as it expands its B2B platform strategy for independently licensed operators.

With go-live not expected until the first quarter of 2027, UK players won’t see immediate changes to DragonBet’s casino lobby. But the migration signals the kind of platform investment that typically precedes smoother account management, quicker payments and a steadier base for future game integrations, worth keeping an eye on as the switchover approaches.
