London’s Hippodrome Casino is stepping in front of the cameras. Playtech has struck a partnership to broadcast a dedicated live casino portfolio from inside the Leicester Square venue, giving operators and players around the world a direct link to one of the UK’s most recognisable casino floors.

Playtech and The Hippodrome Casino have partnered to launch “Live from London,” a live casino portfolio broadcast from inside the Leicester Square venue, with the launch announced on 15 September 2026.

Broadcast live from inside The Hippodrome, the offering features Dual Roulette, Studio Core Roulette, Blackjack and Baccarat.
The tables go live for operators across multiple regulated markets rather than being confined to a single UK site, so the specific outlets carrying the games will vary by licensee.

The collaboration marks the latest addition to Playtech’s growing “Live From” portfolio, bringing one of the UK’s most renowned gaming venues to audiences around the world.

The Hippodrome, on Cranbourn Street at Leicester Square, describes itself as the UK’s largest entertainment and casino venue, with seven floors, three casinos and London’s largest dedicated poker floor.

The venue already offers remote play on its actual tables through the Hippodrome Online
service, so the Playtech deal builds on an existing appetite for taking its floor beyond the building itself.

As the partnership develops, the portfolio is expected to expand further with additional tables.

It’s the same idea Playtech has been running with MGM Resorts on its “Live from Vegas” tables, streamed from the Bellagio and MGM Grand, and the Hippodrome deal extends that venue-based model to a UK landmark.

For Playtech, this is another notch in a strategy built on lending its live studios the credibility of famous physical rooms rather than generic sets.
Playtech chief interactive gaming officer Marat Koss said partnering with iconic gaming destinations remains a key part of the company’s strategy.

He added that “Live from London” merges the authenticity of a premium land-based casino with the supplier’s technology to provide an engaging experience across multiple regulated markets.

From the Hippodrome’s side, it’s a way of putting more than a century of Leicester Square history in front of players who’ll never walk through its doors.
George Constantinou, The Hippodrome’s director of online gaming, noted the venue has been entertaining guests in the heart of London for more than a century and has become one of the most recognised casino destinations in the UK.

He said partnering with Playtech lets the venue extend that experience beyond its walls and introduce its atmosphere to audiences around the world through live casino content.

For UK players already choosing between Evolution’s and Pragmatic Play Live’s studio-based tables, “Live from London” adds a genuinely local alternative: a live feed from a working Leicester Square casino floor rather than a broadcast set, sitting alongside Playtech’s existing Las Vegas-branded tables in its wider “Live From” collection.
