Avanti’s Digital-Clone Dealers Head to Brazil via Superbet

You might not have heard of Avanti Studios yet, but the live casino start-up behind “digital clone” dealers has just landed its biggest deal so far, striking an exclusive tie-up with Brazilian operator Superbet. It’s not a UK launch, but the supplier’s backers and client list make it one worth watching from this side of the Channel.
What’s been released
Avanti, the live casino software supplier specialising in real-time games dealt by lifelike digital clones, has signed a new deal with Brazilian giant Superbet, that will see the studio debut in the South American market.
Under the partnership, Superbet will receive an initial one-month period of exclusive access to all Avanti games, bringing Avanti’s real-time live casino games, dealt by lifelike digital clones, to Brazilian players.
Avanti will boost Superbet’s live casino with upwards of 20 new tables from the get-go, all featuring Brazilian-Portuguese speaking dealers and custom-built live casino environments.
Ten new dedicated blackjack tables are included in the go-live portfolio, including a number at lower stakes to cater to a currently unserved segment of live blackjack players in the market.
How it plays
The headline feature is the tech underneath the tables. Avanti’s dealers aren’t streamed from a studio in the traditional sense: the company has built its own motion capture facility that records the movements and mannerisms of real croupiers, then converts them into digital dealer characters using 3D animation and AI. The result is pitched as a fully real-time, multiplayer experience with no pre-recorded footage, streamed through a cloud-based engine built for mobile play.
Alongside the standard blackjack and card tables, Avanti and Superbet have
collaborated on the build of Futevôlei Ao Vivo, a game that draws its inspiration from the popular sport played across the beaches of Brazil, where players will bet on the outcome of a new Foot Volleyball match every 15 seconds, available exclusively to Superbet players for the term of the agreement.
On top of that,
the two companies are co-producing a live casino game where the dealer will be a prominent influencer, allowing players to interact with a personality they love, 24/7, in a live casino environment for the very first time.
Where it fits
Avanti launched only in January this year, founded by Gustaf Hagman, the former LeoVegas chief executive, and Jonas Delin, who previously ran live dealer specialist Authentic Gaming before its sale to Genting. Since then the studio has moved fast: it
raised another €5m in May, taking total seed funding to €10m, with Genting Casinos UK investing in both rounds.
It has also
signed a multi-market distribution agreement with Light & Wonder and secured business with Entain, bet365 and Luckia as it moves beyond its initial product launch.
A former Evolution executive,
Steven Tabone, was appointed as commercial director in July,
and the company has just brought in an ex-Klarna finance chief to back its expansion.
For UK readers, the interest lies less in Brazilian beach volleyball betting and more in the pedigree behind it. With Genting Casinos UK as an investor and both bet365 and Entain already on Avanti’s client list, this is a supplier that’s building relationships with names UK players will recognise, even if this particular rollout sits outside the UK-licensed market for now. Whether AI-rendered dealers can carve out space against the established live giants remains to be tested, but Avanti’s rapid string of deals suggests operators are willing to give the format a try.
